BY THE BRIDGE

1. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. No Puppies younger than this will be accepted other than for the initial meet and greet with their owner present always.

2. Dog tags – dogs must have a current ID tag bearing their owner’s contact details.

3. Micro-chipped – dogs MUST be microchipped.

4. Vaccination and Anti-flea/anti-worm treatments – all dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and anti-flea/worm treatments.

5. Spayed/Neutered – We cannot accept unneutered male dogs or bitches in season for boarding.

6. Flea/Worming Treatment – You must be able to show that your dog’s treatment for worms and fleas are up to date. If a dog in our care is found to be suffering from fleas or worms, we reserve the right to treat this pet and costs will be met by the owner.

7. Illness – In the event that your pet(s) show any symptoms of illness within 48 hours of any service, By the Bridge must be notified and may, at our discretion cancel the service. In the event that By the Bridge has to spend extra time looking after pet as a result of its illness, injury or otherwise, an additional charge may be administered.

8. Liability – We accept no liability for any illness, death or injury to any animal however caused while in our care. By the Bridge will not be liable for any material damage caused by an animal in its care or any further damage whether resulting in death or personal injury arising from any characteristic of the animal which is not generally known or which have not brought to our attention. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage to home or its contents while the property’s keys are in our possession. Please be aware that if you dog wishes to bring its own toys/bedding By the Bridge will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

9. Emergency Treatment – Should we not be able to make immediate contact with you authorise us to have your pet(s) treated by a vet or otherwise in the event of sudden illness or emergency, at our discretion. You will reimburse us in full costs incurred by us for such care. This includes hospital or staying out expenses.

10. Cancellation – By the Bridge reserves the right to charge for any pre-booked service cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

11. Fees – By the Bridge kindly asks that these are paid 24 hours prior to commencement of your dog(s) stay, if you decide to return home early unfortunately there will be no reimbursement as the time has been set aside and allocated to you/your dog(s).

12. I understand that my dog may be boarded with dogs from other households and therefore will be walked/socialised together and share common areas. However, should the need arise they can and will be separated into different areas/rooms.

13. Sufficient food to cover the duration of your dogs stay must be provided and labeled.
